Biography
Brooke Lanier is the chaotic queer character at any Dungeons and Dragons table. What began as a simple love for stories snowballed into an MFA in Creative Writing from Western Colorado University. When Brooke’s not writing fantasies or daylighting as an electrical engineer, she’s probably watching eldritch horrors in the Feywild (AKA looking for moose in the Rocky Mountains).
About The Cats
Jitterbug, nicknamed “Buggle”, is judgmental and treat-motivated. She likes to wail in the dry bathtub.
Ziggy Stardust, nicknamed “Bubba”, loves birds and squirrels almost as much as he loves belly rubs.
About Reading and Writing
Ideal Reading Location: a library within a cabin on a forested mountainside. Rain buffets the window as a thunderstorm rages outside, but I am content with a blanket, a novel, and a crackling fireplace.
Ideal Writing Location: a porch at that same cabin, earlier in the day when the storm clouds are merely a whisper on the wind. I am armed with a notebook, a Pilot G2 blue ballpoint pen, and fuzzy socks.
